What is Trivia?

Trivia can be found on the #TTFTrivia channel located on IRC server - irc.gamesurge.net. An automated IRC bot, Bloof, gives questions for players to answer, and whoever answers the fastest gets a point. The top 3 to 5 players who score the most points at the end of a "Trivia Season" will earn a fancy username and a fancy rank.

As of right now there are only a total of 95, Toontown/TTF related questions. As the trivia community grows, there will be more Toontown/TTF related questions and even a Normal Trivia category will possibly be made. The Normal Trivia will include questions from material you have learned in Elementary to High school.

How do I play Trivia?

The first method is by clicking the "Toon Chat" button on the Navigation Bar at the top of your screen. If not, go to the Homepage and look in the Site Navigation (on the left) and click on the "Toon Chat".

Afterward, IRC will load and you will be put into two channels - #ToontownFansite and #TTFTrivia. #TTFTrivia is the channel where you can play Trivia. Eventually, the widget will also take you to #theguildv2 chat where you can chat to other members of The Guild v2.0 about runs and general fun stuff.

To start a game of trivia say !trivia, to get a hint say !hint, to check the player scores say !top10 to get the Top 10 Players' Scores. Other commands like !skip to skip a question or !strivia to end a game of trivia - you will need an operator (the people with the @ in front of their name) to do them for you.

What else can Bloof do?

If you want to know when someone has last been on the channel you can use the !seen <username> command, and Bloof will tell you when he was last seen on the channel.

Bloof also keeps a "Quote" database where it can store cool or funny quotes that have been said in any of the channels. To add a quote use the !addquote <quote> command and to view a quote do !quote *something said in the quote*. So for example, if a quote like "Oh man, I just went green" has been added by using the !addquote <Blobber> Oh man, I just went green. command you can search for the quote later by doing something like - !quote *oh man**green* - This will show that "Oh man" and "Green" were separated within the quote.

Bloof not only offers those cool features but keeps a fancy list of the statistics of every user including things like word count, smilie usage, average words per line, etc.
Commands:
!stats - Check your statistic history
!tstats - Check your statistics from that day
!top10 - Check the top 10 users with the highest word count
!top20 - Check the top 11-20 users with the highest word count
!rank - Check how you stack up with all users

Is there anything else I need to know?

If you're having a problem with trivia, you can first check out Bloof's help system by saying /msg Bloof HELP. If you found an error with a question - you can say /msg Bloof error <question number> [description] which will send an error message to me and will be fixed ASAP.

Bloof left the channel?! Sometimes Bloof may be overloaded and might leave. Once I have the chance - I will restart him back up.

Why is Bloof taking so long to say the question?! Lag. Yes, Bloof has lag too.

Trivia will be undergoing some updates tomorrow to fix the bug in which disconnects Bloof after a certain period of time and to add more questions.
