Fake Microsoft Outlook Update Installs Trojan
A malicious spam campaign is using a fake Microsoft Update notice to trick victims into installing a Trojan.
If you receive an email that appears to be sent from Microsoft with an attachment asking you to update your Outlook client, Please immediately delete the email. Microsoft does not send out updates via email attachments. This is a malicious attempt to install a virus on your system.
Unzipping and running the attached .exe will install the Bredolab.Y Trojan. And as an extra added bonus, it will also download a rogue (fake/malicious) antivirus program called SecurityTool. SecurityTool is NOT a valid Anti-Virus or even a Security tool. It IS in fact a trojan/Security RISK!
If you believe you have received and/or opened this email/attachment, please visit:
*NOTE* This site contains information on how to remove the virus. It also includes some steps that if done incorrectly could cause more problems on your PC. If you are unsure of how to preform the steps required for the removal, please take your PC to a qualified person to preform the steps outlined.
There are also free, trusted online virus scanners available. Symantec, TrendMicro, VipreRescue, McAfee, ...
All of the above sites are not recommended if you are on a slow internet connection. If this is the case, I would recommend that you get a copy of a "REAL-TIME" virus scanner installed on your PC and update the definition files on a weekly basis at a minimum.

New Toontown Website!
Welcome to the super-Toontastic home of Toons everywhere -- the brand new Toontown website! We have updated the site from top to bottom, back to front, and all places in between with more Toon fun than a barrel of Toon-monkeys! (Which is a ton a fun, and we should know!)

Check out Toon HQ where you can read the latest news in the What's New blog and then tell us what you think in the comments section -- like right now! Peruse Fan Art made by players just like you and submit your own. Plus, share the glory with our daily display of amazing feats of Toon action with Top Toons. So check it out and let us know what you think.
